Meet Panda, a sweet, soft-eyed Frenchie with a story that’s as heartbreaking as it is hopeful. Born into the hands of an irresponsible breeder chasing the “fluffy Frenchie” trend, Panda was the product of inbreeding a risky and cruel attempt to create a designer dog at any cost.

Because of this, Panda was born deaf and suffers from chronic health issues. She’s also severely allergic to most foods and can only eat a special hydrolyzed vegan formula that must be ordered through a veterinarian each month.

But in May 2024, Panda’s life changed. She was rescued and found her way to Avello Rescue, where she finally has what she always deserved: comfort, safety, and unconditional love. Here, Panda gets the specialized care she needs—and she gives back tenfold with her gentle spirit.
